The Modified Level

The goal of the modified level is to promote player, team and program development while teaching good sportsmanship in an enjoyable, competitive setting. Any eligible 7th or 8th grade student may try out for the team. Evaluation process for Athletic Placement Process (APP) will be done by the coach, with written and verbal feedback provided to the Athletic Director. Previous team participation does NOT guarantee selection. Player participation will be determined by the coach. Equal playing time is not guaranteed for any participant. Focus on the student's skills; commitment, attitude and attendance are factors in playing time.

The Junior Varsity Level

The goal of the junior varsity level is for the play to be more competitive while furthering the development of the team and individual skills as well as good sportsmanship. Any eligible student may try out for the team. Evaluation process for selection will be done by the coach, with written and verbal feedback provided to each student. Previous team participation does NOT guarantee selection. The coach will determine playing time with commitment, attitude, attendance and improvement of skills taken into consideration. The program will encourage participation in practice and games. No playing time is guaranteed for any player.

The Varsity Level

The goal of the Varsity level is to be competitive while exhibiting good sportsmanship. Any eligible student may try out for the team. The evaluation process will be done by the coach, with written and verbal feedback provided to each student. Previous team participation does NOT guarantee selection. The coach will determine playing time with commitment, attitude, attendance and improvement of skills taken into consideration. Playing time is up to the discretion of the coach.
